`Roter Schiefer` Riesling 2023, Gunderloch, Rheinhessen, Germany

Description Veingut Gunderloch are one of the Rheinhessen’s most respected producers with a history of 130 years. This wine is grown on the red soils of Roter Hang, a combination of red slate, clay and limestone which lends mineral complexity to the wines. This certified organic, 100% Riesling has a fragrant nose of honeysuckle and clementine and a fresh, textured palate of green apple and peach fruit with sherbet lemon acidity. Works beautifully with oily fish dishes or an elegant aperitif.
