Aloe Tree Chenin Blanc 2024, Western Cape, South Africa

Description This is a thoroughly delicious Chenin Blanc from the Western Cape of South Africa. The naturally vigorous Chenin Blanc is planted in low potential soils and kept in check by shoot removal and canopy management to reduce yields and keep the fruit concentrated; the cool nights and sea breezes also aid in the development complex and aromatic flavours. Once in the winery, the fruit is gently pressed with only the free run juiced used and aged on lees for 3 months to give texture & mouthfeel. After aromatic & tropical fruits on the nose, the palate is dry yet ripe with flavours of peach, melon and orange peel. Try with lightly spiced Asian foods.
