Winemaker Alberto Antonini is an award-winning consultant winemaker, and the Curatolo Arini winery in Western Sicily is famous for its excellent Marsala. Catarratto and Inzolia are characterful and extremely tasty indigenous Sicilian grape varieties. Vineyard & Winemaking: The grapes are grown on the well-regarded slopes of the Trapani hills and are picked at perfect ripeness before being fermented in stainless steel vessels to capture freshness. Tasting Notes: The resulting Italian white wine has wonderful tropical and citrus fruit on the nose and palate, with a pinch of wildflowers and the faintest twist of aniseed for good measure. Extremely drinkable! Food Pairing: Perfect as an aperitif or try with fish tacos. This Catarratto Inzolia Sicily white also pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, fresh salads and light pasta dishes.
