Description Fairview is one of the oldest and greatest estates in South African wine with a history stretching back to 1699. The Back family purchased the property in 1937 and under Charles Back, who joined the estate in 1978, it has become one of the most innovative of producers. The Fairview Estate is situated in the warm district of Paarl but this Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from the cool, poor soiled, coastal vineyards of Darling. The result is a wonderful wine which is not only fresh & crisp but has oodles of tropical citrus fruit flavours.
