Greganico “Conte di Matarocco” 2024, Cantine Paolini, Sicily

Description Founded in 1964 in Gurgo, Marsala in Western Siciliy; the Cantine Paolini is one of the best cooperatives in Sicily, if not Italy. Their practice of low intervention is supported by high temperatures & high winds leading to a very environmentally friendly form of grape producing. The Grecanico is the pick of their whites with lashing of tinned pineapple fruit on nose and palate which is kept clean with crisp, citrus acidity. Perfect on the beach as a treat or with green chilli & cream cheese crackers!
