Description The Vignes de L’Eglise wines are sourced from the area around Pomérols in the Picpoul de Pinet district of the Languedoc. This cool area in addition to the clay and limestone terraces called “Costières” provide perfect growing conditions for good concentration, optimum ripeness and freshness in the final wine. The cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves the primary fruit flavours, leading to peach, mango, pineapple and pear character on the nose and palate. An ideal aperitif, this excellent vermentino will also compliment white fish and mildly spiced Asian influenced dishes.
