Sandstone Spires is constructed using 2 distinct groups, comprised of (8) center diamonds in Group A, and border blocks that result in an 68″ square quilt as Group B. The blocks and pattern require paper piecing and traditional piecing skills and are available through Quiltworx.com. The blocks are also interchangeable with other similarly sized blocks as part of the Meadow Star Wall Hanging Mixer. This means there are other blocks the same size as those in this quilt that have been designed by Quiltworx.com and use paper piecing techniques as well.
