Antique French Majolica Bird Plate

Description Beautiful French antique Majolica plate from approximately the 1880’s to 1900’s. The design is a raised effect of two lovely grey and white birds sitting in a tree with green leaves, eating berries on a pretty pale blue/green background. There is a wave like trim around the edge of the plate and a makers mark on the base. There is a small chip in the side and the glaze has crazed, but no other chips or cracks have been noted.
