Description A clear mid sized glass Atlas E-Z Seal mason jar with bail top glass lid. This is the quart gallon size jar. There are a few surface scratches as shown in the photographs but no cracks seen. As we have a few of these in stock, the one pictured here isn’t necessarily the one you will get. It may have a slightly different lid. Please check the photographs. They are all the same glass style but the design on the top may differ. Likewise, some will have the rubber seal and others may not. Some of the rubber has also perished and is cracked. Atlas E-Z Seal – This jar style is round, featuring a bail and integrated glass lid. It is stamped with the E-Z Seal name and comes in pint, half-pint, quart, and half-gallon sizes. The earliest E-Z Seal jars are from 1910. Before the age of freezers the housewife preserved all her fruit, pickles and vegetables in these jars. Therefore all kitchens had lots of these. The most popular sizes were the Half Gallon, the Quart and the Pint. Please remember when buying vintage items, they will have signs of use but that is also what makes them so unique.  We do our best to photograph and explain the condition of the item as best we can.  If you have any questions about a particular item, please contact us. Please take the time to look at all pictures. Product Code: 31146/CON Styling: Atlas mason jars are great display piece for the kitchen at home or table dressing at weddings, events, bars, cafes and restaurants, look great on shelves just as display or filled with anything from cotton balls and fairy lights to craft items and anything else you can think of.
