About the golden five of William 1: The golden fiver of William 1 is the first five guilder coin in Dutch history. The fiver is made of 900/1000 gold, weighs 3.36 grams and has a diameter of 18.5 millimeters. The obverse shows the image of King William 1, with the text "William 1 King of the Netherlands G.H.V.L. (short for Grand Duke of Luxembourg).
