SCARCE – WWI PRUSSIAN ERSATZ UHLAN HELMET (H040)

***SCARCE ***  WWI PRUSSIAN ERSATZ UHLAN HELMET. Made completely of metal with non-removable tin mortarboard top. The exterior and interior tin shell have been restored with some minor rust pitting that can be observed on the mortarboard top. My photos have been unable to pick this up. The interior maintains its original liner which is extremely delicate. The helmet has its original leather strap with buckles and black and white Prussian field mortar board cockade which is in poor condition as pictured. The helmet has one single national black, white and red side cockade that is original but appears to have been restored. All up a nice example of a scarce helmet.
