WW1 Prussian Tin Ersatz Pickelhaube (H039)

WW1 Prussian NCO Tin Ersatz Pickelhaube. I have been advised that this is a Garde-Infanterie pickelhaube. The brass fittings appear to have been polished and a new leather chin strip has been added. The exterior tin shell has also been restored. The interior maintains its original liner and paint work. The helmets spike is about 9cm in length. Note that this helmet is missing its star on the wappen where the two lug holes can be observed. All up a nice example of a hard-to-get helmet in Australia.
